Dermaplaning is a procedure that exfoliates your skin and gets rid of dirt and vellus hair, also known as “peach fuzz.” Your aesthetician uses a sterile scalpel at a very precise angle to scrape off the dead layers of your skin.

Risks and Side Effects:
Dermaplaning isn’t recommended if you have inflammatory skin conditions such as:

- Rosacea
- Psoriasis
- Eczema
- Sunburn
If you’re taking accuatane medications, you should wait 6 months after you stop taking it to try Dermaplaning.
