BBL treatments are most suitable for lighter skin tones, typically Fitzpatrick Skin Types I–III, and some carefully selected Type IV clients. Because BBL targets pigment in the skin, darker skin tones may carry a higher risk of unwanted pigment changes. During your consultation, your skin will be assessed using the Fitzpatrick Skin Scale to determine whether BBL is the safest and most effective treatment for you. HERO technology makes our machine safer on darker skin tones than regular IPL devices.
